About Us
Accent Cleaners is family owned and operated. Nils and Ingrid Noren, with their son Johan and his wife Susannah, bought Accent in 2002. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to improving the quality of cleaning and pressing Accent offers. In November 2005, we undertook the job of renovating all five locations. All of the design and remodeling work was done by the family and the last store was finished in March of 2006. We hope you will enjoy the results!
Accent boasts a dedicated staff of counter attendants who can assist customers with any cleaning questions or concerns. Pat, at our Riverside location, has been with Accent for over eleven years. Kay and Robin at our Washington Avenue store have a combined experience of over sixty years with Accent! Judy and Pat at our Allen Avenue store have been with Accent for a combined two decades. At our Falmouth store, Rosemarie, Bridget and Elaine, have a combined experience of almost ten years with Accent. Ingrid Noren is usually behind the counter at our Cape Elizabeth store, and you will often see Susannah Noren at any one of the stores, filling in for vacation and sick days.
The people you may be unfamiliar with are the wonderful staff at Riverside Street who does your cleaning and pressing and delivers your clothes to the stores. This team of eleven takes great pride in returning your clothes looking their absolute best. Nils and Johan Noren do all of the pre-spotting and dry and wet cleaning themselves to ensure the highest quality of cleaning.
